Welcome to the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) at the Asian Institute of Technology, where we aim to become a unique and prestigious multicultural hub of higher learning, developing highly qualified engineers and technologists who play leading roles in promoting the region’s industrial competitiveness in its integration into the global economy.

It is both an honor and a privilege to be a part of AIT – an International Postgraduate-only Institute that has been around for 6 decades, with about 1,600 students hailing from many different countries, coming together to live and work in one environment. Campus life in AIT is very unique and beautiful – we are all fortunate to be living in a green campus filled with diversity, warmth and support from one another, positive energy and more.

As the Dean of SET, it is important to adapt to the constantly changing world of education and research to maintain the competitiveness of the School, and to be able to lead it towards a sustainable future. One of the main visions for SET is to be able to contribute to society through high quality human resources, research and education by attracting only the best faculty and students to the School! In terms of research, I would like to extend SET’s existing research in health & wellness – which is an important area for the region, as it has a great potential for social impact due to Thailand’s huge health & wellness industry.

I am personally looking forward to welcoming and meeting students from all over the globe who are motivated, creative, and are out-of-the-box thinkers. Our vision is to help you achieve your full potential which will, in turn, enable you to be successful in your studies in AIT, as well as your future careers.

Please feel free to look and browse through our website providing all the information you need to know about our Faculty Members, and what SET offers. You can also connect and engage with us on our official social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram). You are also more than welcome to visit our campus to get the first hand experience! I hope we can inspire you and aid you in the best way we can in your decision-making process and in identifying the path you wish to pursue in the future.

Wishing you the very best of luck.

Again, welcome to AIT, and welcome to the School of Engineering and Technology.
